This piece of furniture is made from eucalyptus wood originating from a certified FSC forest. This furniture has been treated with polyurethane oil, which gives the wood good protection against environmental exposure and prevents absorption of water. The treated wood will weather to a lighter colour. To maintain the wood and the richer tones, lightly sand the surface and treat with a good protector such as teak oil. After treatment, ensure that any excess oil on the surface is wiped off. Dimensions: Height: 90cm Width: 157cm Depth: 69cm. We recommend that you repeat the treatment of oil from time to time and at least once per year. Giving the new furniture an extra treatment before taking it out into the rain will prolong the new look. Sometimes, a small amount of resin still remains in the wood. After being outside for some months, small dark spots may appear. You can use abrasive paper to sand off the resin spots and reply the oil on the furniture. In the years to come, the wood will grow darker and as wood is a living material, it is natural that small cracks may appear. This is normal reaction to weather conditions and does not harm product. If you would like to bring back the as new colour, simply sand away the old surface and treat with oil. Please protect furniture from snow, wet and dirt from September onwards.
