This product was defective
After taking about fifty pieces out of 2 boxes, I discovered the product was defective. There were gouges and brown spots on the front of at least 6 pieces of the white wood. Sending it back.

Not as expected
Be warned that this is not essentially a piece of furniture, but a pre-fab kit (like building cheap office furniture). ALL assembly is required. Due to the weight of the piece you will need a number of strong men to lift the counter on the piece. That being said, it is not an ugly piece, nor is it flimsy, just not of high quality materials.

Beautiful product!!! Worth every cent!!!
First I must say I was impressed. The island was well protected for shipping and it was not hard to assemble. The island is well constructed and has a very nice finish that is easy to clean. I highly recommend this piece for someone who is looking for additional storage or for added counter space. I love the drop-down leaf. The shelves at each end of the island is perfect for my many cookbooks....
